Ilha da Queimada Grande, located on the coast of São Paulo, is full of snakes (about 5 snakes per square meter). Because of this, the Navy prohibited disembarkation at the site. This fact is more frightening than curious, right?

Our focus - Our focus this month is São Mateus church in São Paulo, Brazil. They just celebrated 15 years of service for the kingdom of God. check it out!

 Our Focus

 This month we will be sharing a little about what São Mateus has been doing for 15 years of faithful work.

São Mateus church

We are blessed to have Sao Mateus church within the BROLM family. They have faithfully served God and others as the Lord Christ Jesus commands (just celebrated 15 years). São Mateus is a youthful church with about 80% of the members being under the age of 25. It is located in a large populated youth district within the city of São paulo.

 Most of the youth comes from broken homes where drugs, alcohol, and organized crime is present in everyday life. Most of them have someone in their family that is part of the orgizine crime. With that they have family members or even parents pass away because of this reality.

 Humberto & Priscila (pastor & his wife) do a great job bringing them the love of Christ Jesus and making them disciples of Jesus Christ. Humberto & Priscilla daughters (three daughters) have helped a lot bringing youth to a relationship with God, because they are within the same age groups as the people they reach.

They do social work with the homeless in their district by providing food & most important speaking of God’s relationship desire with us. During the pandemic, they gave up the space where they meet for church services to serve the community during the week, by getting people to get tested and get vaccinations.

 Please keep your prayers consistently towards the church in São Mateus, because the goal is through the youth God will bring the families to a true relationship with God & others.

Important needs Monthly

❖   Please, continue to help us provide food baskets to those who are in need. We can purchase food baskets for USD$18 each (Within the BROLM churches in São Paulo, Brazil we have members that depend on these food baskets monthly).

 ❖   God has provided for BROLM to build the meeting and eating hall, kitchen and restrooms, however to build the dorms and remodel what is needed we still need to raise USD$100.000 (For more details a PDF is attached).

 ❖   For the time being Isaac & Jamie can stay in Sao Paulo, Brazil temporarily, because of a one time gift. However, to stay permanently on the field working, there is a need of raising $1,340 monthly support for the total of

$2,000 support for their monthly salary (living expenses).

❖   We are officially married! Jamie and I had an amazing day surrounded by such a cloud of witnesses (Hebreus 12:1-2). We are blessed to have such an amazing family that supports and prays for us daily (meaning, all of you who are involved in our lives).

In the meantime before going to São Paulo, Brazil Jamie and I will be living with Jamie’s parents: Daniel and Jeanie Leaverton in Ohio.

* We will be available to visit churches, missions boards, individuals, families, and anyone interested about the BROLM ministries (online or in person).

 ❖   In these months of June, July, August, and September the temperature drops a lot in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We are receiving donations from people from the churches in Brazil and if you want to help please donate financially. We can buy in Brazil clothes and blankets for the homeless and those in need even within the churches.
