One of the most famous dishes in Brazil is feijoada. The recipe was created by slaves during the colonial period. They mixed the meat discarded by their bosses, such as pork ear and tongue, and added it with the delicious black beans.

Isaac & Jamie moving to Sao Paulo, Brazil
Jamie commencement 05/07/2022
Jamie has graduated with a bachelors in Intercultural Studies with a concentration in ESL and Bible and Theology. Four years of great experiences by playing four years of soccer at Johnson University and making friends for life. “During my time at Johnson I have not only learned about working cross-culturally, I have also learned how to strengthen my relationship with God”
(Jamie).
Isaac & Jamie
Isaac & Jamie are soon to be married on June the 25th of 2022. After the wedding, they will be preparing Jamie’s documents to live in Brazil. As Isaac & Jamie prepare to go to Brazil, they will be available to visit churches or people online or in person to talk about their partnership with BROLM and commitments with the ministry.
Retreat updates
The Plateau for the kitchen areas and the retaining wall
Jeff Fife with the workers at the BROLM retreat have been doing an amazing job progressing in such a short time period. In a month, they have moved all the dirt of the land into plateaus for the future meeting hall, kitchen, bathrooms, and parking lot.

In the month of May, we started building the retaining wall to secure the plateau of the meeting hall. The next step will be building the pavilion. We will keep you updated on the progress of the construction.

Please, continue to help us provide food baskets to those who are in need, we can purchase food baskets for USD$18 each.
God has provided for BROLM to build the meeting and eating hall, kitchen and restrooms, however to build the dorms and remodel what is needed we still need to raise USD$100.000.
For the time being Isaac & Jamie can stay in Sao Paulo, Brazil temporarily, because of a one time gift. However, to stay permanently on the field working, there is a need of raising $1,340 monthly support for the total of $2,000 support for their monthly salary (living expenses).
In these months of May, June, and July the temperature drops a lot in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We are receiving donations from people from the churches in Brazil and if you want to help please donate financially. We can buy in Brazil clothes and blankets for the homeless and those in need even within the churches.
